Without the union between masculine and feminine there cannot be creation

Everything exists because of the love between Radha and Krsna, or Siva and Shakti. The feminine and masculine principles exist in the spiritual plane and there is nothing higher than their play, the constant union and separation between them. In our body, the Kundalini shakti is asleep in the Muladhara chakra and Shiva resides in the Ajña chakra. Every spiritual goal is accompanied by the awakening of the Kundalini. When we concentrate on serving the divine couple in their form of Radha Krsna, Laxmi Narayana, or Shiva Parvati, we are automatically serving Kundalini Shakti and Her consort.

When Maha Visnu, who lies in the causal ocean, glances over prakriti, His glance who is Shiva, enters prakriti and creation begins. Without the union between Shiva and prakriti, creation cannot begin. This union between the masculine and feminine principles exists everywhere since it is the basis of existence. In this world, human bodies are made in the image of the divine masculine and feminine. When male and female copulate in this world - when there bodies unite - then (pro)creation can happen and the world can go on. Therefore the highest play of the feminine and the masculine are Radha and Krsna's, for there is nothing more intense than Radha's love. She is after all the embodiment of maha-bhava, the highest state of love. Without Radha Krsna's love, creation cannot happen because everything is an expression of Their love. Every other form of Shakti and Purusha are an expansion of Radha and Krsna, which shows that Their love is the source of creation. To honour Their love is to honour the very source of creation, the source of (our) existence, for without Their love what could exist to be even maintained? This is why Shakti and Purusha are always related even if their are separated, as when the Kundalini shakti lies in the Muladhar Chakra awaiting union with Her beloved.

When we see the forms of Shakti such as Kali, Laxmi, Tara, Parvati... Are they ever without their beloved ? If the beloved in not physically with Them, He surely resides in Their hearts at all time. Therefore, to serve God is to serve love; to truly appreciate His creation is to realise that it is the effect of the love play between Him and His feminine energy. Because without the union between masculine and feminine there cannot be creation.
